Meet the 57‑year‑old scooter legend
Bob Brown: a Cornish adventurer who has already run and cycled across Australia.
The coast‑to‑coast challenge
From Perth on the west coast to Sydney on the east coast, Bob tackled a 2,800‑mile (4,506 km) route in 31 days, 4 hours, 10 minutes. He is chasing two Guinness World Records: the fastest scooter coast‑to‑coast and the first person to complete the route by running, cycling and scootering.

Along the way he battled injuries: a clipped wing mirror injury on day five and a broken handlebar fall on the final day. “It was a crazy, adrenaline‑filled adventure.” he says.
Bob set out to raise £5,000 for three charities – MacMillan Cancer Support, St Luke’s Hospice and Children’s Hospice South West – and encouraged young people to get off screens and seek real adventure.
His documentation has been submitted for Guinness recognition. Will he break the records? We’ll keep you posted.
