The Israeli military has announced new evacuation warnings for four neighborhoods in Dahiya, a bustling area near Beirut frequently targeted by airstrikes. This comes after six Israeli soldiers were killed in intense combat in southern Lebanon, marking one of the deadliest days for Israeli forces since the conflict began last month.

Avichai Adraee, an Israeli military spokesperson, urged locals to evacuate and remain at least 500 meters away from specific buildings earmarked for future military operations. Though details about how the soldiers were killed remain sparse, the incident underscores Hezbollah's ongoing threat despite significant Israeli assaults that have claimed many lives within the militant group.

Israel's military offensive commenced following a year of escalating cross-border skirmishes involving rocket fire from Hezbollah, which has acted in solidarity with Hamas since the latter's attacks last October. In the past week alone, Israel has reported inflicting heavy casualties on Hezbollah, destroying over 140 rocket launchers in the southern region.
