BTS star V shares his hearing loss story during live stream
During a Wednesday livestream, V, the 30‑year‑old BTS member, opened up about his ongoing hearing loss in one ear.
He explained that the problem has been improving over the past two and a half years, with his hearing now at 100 in the left ear but only around 30 in the right.
The condition worsened while he was serving in the military, but he only realized its seriousness a little late, treating it as a mental challenge at first. Now he’s under medication and regular hospital visits.
The revelation came midway through BTS’s highly‑anticipated “Arirang” world tour, where all seven members reunited after a break for mandatory military service.
Jungkook joined V on livestream to talk about a shin injury he has been dealing with, showing that even the star athletes endure physical stress.
Over the coming months, the group will tour cities like Los Angeles, Buenos Aires, Bangkok, Sydney and Hong Kong.
