She’s Alive, Dolly Parton’s long‑time management arm, has filed a restraining order against her nephew, Bryan Seaver, accusing him of “threats, intimidation and coercion” over the singer’s estate.
The lawsuit says Seaver, who once led Dolly’s security crew and delivered the announcement of her death, threatened to dismiss the brand, warning that the estate would ruin their “empire” if they didn’t pay him.
Seaver denies the allegations in a statement to TMZ, claiming the text and email snippets were taken out of context and merely “rage talk” while grieving. He insists he isn’t threatening anyone and calls himself a “career soldier” and security professional.
The legal move comes as Dolly’s team hires extra private security for employees and has seen some staff resign over concerns about safety.
