Lydia Wood, a 31-year-old artist, has embarked on a remarkable journey: to draw every pub in London. As she sets up her easel at the Lord Clyde in Southwark, she faces the sun-drenched day with a mission to capture the essence of the city’s vibrant nightlife. The quaint building, standing since 1913, becomes her canvas as a passerby admires her sketching skills, illustrating her deep connection with the urban landscape.

With about 300 pubs drawn so far, Lydia has a whopping 2,500 left to go! Drawing her subjects at random, she explores the city’s diverse neighborhoods, revealing insights into the challenges pubs face today, like rising rents and changing social habits. Her work not only preserves the look of these local landmarks but also tells the story of London’s evolving nightlife.

Join Lydia on her artistic quest as she celebrates the city's unique culture, one pint at a time!
