Italy museum pulls off €9m art heist recovery
Three stolen masterpieces by Cézanne, Renoir, and Matisse have been recovered after a night‑time robbery captured on CCTV.
The thieves broke into the Magnani Rocca Museum near Parma on 22 March, breaking into the display case and taking three large canvases.
Police say the works, worth a combined €9 million, were returned during a search the day after the theft.
While the paintings are back, investigators are still looking into how the heist happened.
