BOSTON (AP) — A Boston-area man, Brian Walshe, has been sentenced to life in prison for the first-degree murder of his wife, Ana Walshe. Ana disappeared nearly three years ago, and her body has never been found. In November, he pled guilty to misleading police and illegally disposing of a body after admitting to dismembering her and disposing of the remains in a dumpster. Evidence presented during the trial included searches for 'best ways to dispose of a body' and physical evidence like a hacksaw containing Ana's DNA. This case, marked by a troubling marital history and financial motivations, also brought to light that the couple had three children who are now in state custody. Brian Walshe will serve the life sentence with no possibility of parole.
