A U.S. district judge tossed the final claims from Lizzo’s former wardrobe assistant, saying the allegations did not show a pattern of workplace abuse.

  • Claims of sexual, racial and physical misconduct were dismissed.

  • Lizzo posted on Instagram, declaring she’s “relieved” and will keep fighting every claim.

  • The lawsuit was filed in September 2023 and still names Big Grrrl Big Touring Inc as a defendant.

The judge noted the alleged incidents were “outside the protection” of workplace‑rights law, leaving Lizzo’s production company in the legal arena but the accusations themselves were not upheld.

“The truth matters to me more than anything,” Lizzo wrote, thanking her lawyers and promising to spread positivity while sending love to her supporters.
