Lizzo Celebrates Legal Victory!
Lizzo is celebrating after a judge dismissed allegations of fat-shaming made by three former dancers in a 2023 lawsuit. The singer, known for her body-positive anthems like 'Good As Hell' and 'Juice,' shared a heartfelt video on her Instagram and TikTok accounts to mark the occasion.
In the video, Lizzo stated, There was no evidence that I fired them because they gained weight; they were fired for taking a private recording of me without my consent. While the fat-shaming claims are no longer part of the lawsuit, serious allegations of sexual harassment remain, continuing the legal saga for the pop star.
Former dancers Arianna Davis, Crystal Williams, and Noelle Rodriguez claimed they faced pressure to engage in inappropriate activities during their time working with Lizzo. Lizzo's team has labeled the entire lawsuit as a fabricated sob story, but the legal process continues as the case evolves.
In response to the recent developments, Lizzo expressed how the allegations had weighed heavily on her for two years, stating it was devastating to suffer through this in silence. She emphasized her commitment to stand strong against the remaining charges, stating decisively, I am not settling. I will be fighting every single claim until the truth is out.
Lizzo’s attorney sharply criticized the dancers' claims, insisting that many witnesses would support her side. As the legal battles unfold, one thing remains clear: Lizzo stands firm, ready to challenge any accusations that come her way!
