Masked Menace: Philly’s Doll-Mask Man on the Run

A man in a creepy doll mask has been terrorising Philadelphia residents, running up to them, making threats and filming the incidents with a phone.

What the police see

Philadelphia Police say the suspect pursued a woman who was morning‑running at about 5:30 local time (10:30 BST) and even pushed her to a stumble that caused an injury. The ugly man was captured on video asking, ‘ready to die?’, and was seen filming the whole sequence.

Public help requested

Police posted photos and a video and are asking anyone who may recognise the suspect to come forward. The suspect faces charges of terroristic threats, simple assault and more.

Could it be viral?

Captain Jason Smith said it could be part of a social media trend, but it remains unclear whether the stalker is simply a prank or a serious threat.
