HUDSONVILLE, Mich. — A massive pileup involving more than 100 vehicles occurred on Interstate 196, including numerous semitrailer trucks, as heavy snowfall from the Great Lakes blanketed Michigan. The pileup happened early Monday morning, prompting the Michigan State Police to close both directions of the highway near Hudsonville while cleanup efforts were initiated.
