Two people in Pennsylvania who were not vaccinated died from measles, the state’s 393rd case this year while the U.S. hits a 35‑year high.
Lancaster County’s kindergarten kids are 85% vaccinated – below the 95% threshold needed to keep the disease at bay.
“This illness and death from measles is completely preventable,” said Governor Josh Shapiro, urging parents to get the MMR shot.
Health officials say no details on the victims will be released, but the U.S. has seen 2,777 confirmed cases in 2026.
