In a thrilling announcement, the 2026 Rhodes Scholarship winners were unveiled, featuring 32 standout students, including five from U.S. military academies and three from each of Yale, Harvard, and MIT. These scholars are making waves in their fields, focusing on critical issues ranging from housing to sustainability. Among them is Alice L. Hall from MIT, an accomplished basketball player and student body president who aims to enhance sustainability in engineering. Another incredible winner is Sydney E. Barta, a Paralympian studying bioengineering at Stanford, who will dive into musculoskeletal sciences. Anirvin Puttur, from the U.S. Air Force Academy, is an instructor pilot studying aeronautical engineering and linguistics.
