A Houthi missile struck Aden’s Al‑Maashiq Palace on Monday, leaving two security officers dead and dozens wounded. The attack was aimed at the seat of Yemen’s internationally recognised government, but the prime minister said his office was untouched.

Saudi Arabia‑led forces back Yemen’s government and have been striking Houthi positions, while the rebels target Saudi airstrips, oil hubs and Red‑Sea shipping lanes.

Iran has denied supplying weapons, but Saudi officials blame Tehran for the escalating attacks.

The conflict, which began in 2014, now claims over a thousand lives in the past month and threatens the region’s security. The latest strike adds new spikes to an already tense situation.
