More than 20 women have reached out to the Metropolitan Police in London with allegations against Zou Zhenhao, a 28-year-old Chinese student recently convicted of raping ten women in the UK and China. The police stated that 23 women have come forward since his conviction last month, including those from Britain, China, and various other regions. Investigators believe Zou may have assaulted over 50 women, supported by extensive video evidence found on his devices.

Zou, who attended University College London from 2019 to 2024 for his Ph.D., would lure women through dating apps like Bumble and Chinese social media platforms such as WeChat and Little Red Book. He specifically targeted Chinese students in London, often meeting them at parties or events.

A jury convicted him on March 5 for 11 counts of rape, drug possession for sexual assault, voyeurism, and illegal pornography. While two women testified during the trial, the police noted that eight others remain unidentified, and some victims may not recall their experiences due to being drugged. Following the conviction, authorities have encouraged any additional victims to come forward to aid in ongoing investigations.
