Nine Killed in Russia's Kyiv Missile Strike

Russian ballistic missiles targeted Kyiv on Saturday, killing nine residents and leaving many more injured.

The State Emergency Service reported at least 23 people wounded, including children, across the city.

Ukraine Urges US to Provide Patriot Interceptors

Following recent attacks, President Volodymyr Zelensky met with U.S. President Donald Trump in Washington to ask for a licence that would allow Ukraine to produce Patriot missile interceptor batteries.

Trump said discussions are underway but cautioned that such technology should not be handed over without careful oversight.

Targeting Russian Supply Lines

In retaliation, Ukrainian forces are hitting logistics hubs used by Russian troops, aiming to cut off supplies and equipment.

The escalating air conflict shows that Kyiv’s air defence requires urgent upgrades to counter ballistic missile threats.
