In the aftermath of Paris Saint-Germain’s (PSG) thrilling Champions League win, tragedy struck as two lives were lost and chaos erupted across France. Reports from the French interior ministry indicate that a 17-year-old boy in Dax died from a stabbing, and a 23-year-old scooter rider in Paris was killed after being struck by a vehicle. Amid the uproar, police arrested 559 individuals, while 192 people were injured, including 22 officers, some due to fireworks.

PSG condemned the violence, emphasizing that such actions do not reflect their true fanbase. President Emmanuel Macron described the events as "unacceptable" and promised swift action against the perpetrators. Despite the turbulence, PSG's victory parade on Sunday went ahead, with heightened police presence. Although the atmosphere was tense, many fans gathered peacefully, singing and celebrating while the Eiffel Tower lit up in PSG colors.

However, reports of looting surfaced, particularly a robbery near a Foot Locker on the Champs-Élysées. Other disturbances ensued, prompting police to respond with tear gas and water cannons to disperse violent crowds. In a separate incident, a car crashed into PSG fans in Grenoble, injuring four family members.

As the investigations unfold, officials are calling for accountability, highlighting the divide between true supporters and those responsible for the mayhem.
