In brief
Fu Zai, China’s first police corgi, is becoming a beloved figure known for both his adorable antics and exceptional nose for trouble, despite a few... distractions!
Fu Zai is not your average sniffer dog; he's China’s first-ever police corgi and has captured the hearts of many with his charming personality. With over 400,000 followers on social media, this furry officer from Shandong is beloved for his hilarious on-duty moments and his irresistible love for food. Discovered as a pup with a knack for sniffing out scents, Fu Zai quickly transitioned from a playful pet to a police dog last fall. His trainers applaud his nose for trouble—literally! They’ve found that his love for treats is both a blessing and a challenge. Recently, social media went wild when Fu Zai was caught munching on a kid's sausage during patrol. Fans were quick to offer him support and even suggested bringing him more snacks on his next street mission! Despite some antics that have landed him in hot water with his handler—like confiscation of festive treats due to a few mishaps—Fuzai's spirited nature is typical for corgis, known for their energetic and curious ways. Dog training expert Leonardo Palacio mentions that it’s common for these pups to get easily distracted, but that just adds to Fu Zai’s charm. Keep an eye on this fluffy police officer as he continues to spread joy, one sausage at a time!
