Riyadh’s King Khalid International Airport was hit by a missile blast again Sunday, sparking a huge fire in a passenger hall and leaving hundreds injured.

This is the second strike on the same airport in just two days, after the first attack killed 13 people and wound 308. The damage is still being assessed, but emergency crews have put the blaze under control.

Yemeni Houthi rebels say they carried out the strikes, blaming Saudi Arabia for supporting forces in Yemen. In a statement they warned pilots and passengers that Saudi airspace is a danger zone.

The UK’s Defence Secretary hinted that London might add support, while US officials say they will decide quickly on possible counter‑strikes. The attacks come as a recently‑brokered cease‑fire in Yemen has fallen apart.

With tensions high in the Middle East and air travel already under strain, this second strike underscores how dangerous travel routes can become amid conflict.
