After meetings at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Trump took to his Truth Social platform to share details. He mentioned a robust discussion with NATO's Secretary General Mark Rutte, forming a framework for further talks concerning Greenland. However, both Denmark and Greenland have reiterated their sovereignty won't be on the negotiating table.

Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen remarked that while political discussions are welcome, sovereignty is a hard limit.
