Turkey School Shooting: 11 Injured, 15‑Year‑Old Arrested

A 15‑year‑old student opened fire outside the Inci Uzmez Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School in Manisa, injuring eleven students before being detained by police.

The suspect was caught holding a shotgun that CCTV footage captured, and his parents – who owned the weapon – were also taken into custody.

This marks the third school shooting in Turkey this year, fueling renewed debate over gun control, school security measures, and youth trauma.
