Twin Love: Nigerian Twins Tie the Knot in a Joyful Joint Wedding

When guests arrived at a church in south‑west Nigeria, they knew they were about to witness a rare union: twin brothers married twin sisters in a single joyous ceremony.
The brothers, Taiwo and Kehinde Oguntoye, and their identical‑sisters brides, Taiwo and Kehinde Adediran, had been studying together at the University of Ibadan a decade ago and eventually found love that led to this unique celebration.
Yoruba culture celebrates twins as a blessing, naming older twins “Taiwo” and younger ones “Kehinde.” The ceremony reflected this cultural significance with matching outfits, music, and vows that highlighted the shared bond.
Other twin couples attended, turning the event into a massive family gathering that fostered a sense of unity across the community.
Now, the couples are living in close proximity but maintain strong family ties, promising to keep their love close even while living separately.
