Kelly Osbourne is heartbroken following the death of her father, Ozzy Osbourne, the heavy metal legend who passed away at the age of 76. The legendary rocker’s death came shortly after he performed with Black Sabbath during a tearful farewell concert in Birmingham. The concert was especially significant for Kelly, who got engaged to her partner Sid Wilson, lead vocalist of Slipknot, just backstage.
Numerous family members were present to support Ozzy during what turned out to be his final act. Iconic musicians from bands like Metallica and Guns N' Roses also took to the stage in tribute. The Osbourne family stated, “It is with more sadness than mere words can convey that we have to report that our beloved Ozzy Osbourne has passed away this morning.” While they did not confirm a cause of death, it is known Ozzy faced numerous health challenges, including a Parkinson's diagnosis in 2019.
Kelly took to social media to express her grief, sharing the lyrics from the Black Sabbath song "Changes," which she performed with her father back in 2003 when it peaked at number one in the UK charts. Reflecting on their close relationship, Kelly described Ozzy as her "best friend," highlighting their unforgettable bond witnessed in their family reality show "The Osbournes" and their joint podcast.
