British singer FKA Twigs, whose real name is Tahliah Debrett Barnett, and actor Shia LaBeouf have reached a private settlement concerning the abuse lawsuit she filed back in 2020. The joint statement from their lawyers confirmed the agreement, details of which will not be disclosed.

FKA Twigs accused LaBeouf of various forms of abuse during their nine-month relationship, including physical violence and emotional harm. Although LaBeouf denied many allegations, he admitted to causing trauma in his relationships and expressed remorse for his actions.

The lawsuit had been ongoing for five years, initially set for a trial last year before being postponed. Both parties express hope for personal and professional happiness in their joint statement. FKA Twigs has continued to thrive in her music career, releasing her latest album, while LaBeouf recently appeared in a crime drama film.
