After experiencing discrimination at the age of 12, Isidora Uribe Silva turned her painful journey into a powerful advocacy platform. Growing up in Santiago, Chile, she was bullied by classmates when she transitioned to a new school where accommodations for her cerebral palsy were lacking. This led to a seven-month school absence until she found a supportive institution willing to include her.At just 13, she created an app called Encuentra Tu Lugar (Find Your Place) to assist disabled individuals in locating accessible parking. Her work didn't stop there; she founded a foundation sharing the same name and focused on a broader mission to fight for equality. Now 20 and a law student, Isidora is not just an activist in her community but has also made waves at the United Nations, serving on initiatives aimed at enhancing gender equality and advocating for those who are often overlooked.
