Four teenagers have been arrested in connection with a spree of burglaries that targeted celebrity homes, including that of actor Brad Pitt, according to the Los Angeles Police Department. The group, made up of two 18-year-olds, a 17-year-old, and a 16-year-old, reportedly belongs to a street gang and is suspected of various high-profile thefts across the city.

Authorities began their investigation after Pitt’s home was invaded by masked thieves in June. The suspects reportedly jumped a fence, broke a window, and cleared out valuables while the star was away promoting his new movie "F1."

Though police haven’t specified all the celebrities involved, reports indicate that Nicole Kidman, Keith Urban, and other notable figures have experienced similar break-ins this year. Items linked to the burglaries were found upon searching the suspects' homes.

Police Chief Jim McDonnell highlighted the increasing sophistication of these criminal activities. The thieves have been known to use surveillance equipment to monitor their targets and disrupt home security systems with Wi-Fi jammers, making it easier for them to execute their plans. He warned that celebrities are particularly vulnerable, partly due to their public presence, which can lead potential burglars to track their whereabouts through social media.
