Two Australian health workers at Bankstown Hospital have sparked controversy after a video surfaced showing them making violent threats against Israeli patients. One worker, dressed in scrubs, boldly stated, “I won’t treat them,” and added, “I’ll kill them.” Another, also in scrubs, mimicked slicing his throat while discussing the Israeli patients.

The video quickly went viral after being shared online by a pro-Israel advocate, leading to public outrage. Prime Minister Anthony Albanese responded by labeling the threats as “sickening and shameful.” In light of the incident, the two workers have been suspended and referred to the police for further investigation as Australia faces a troubling rise in antisemitic incidents.
