Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom have officially announced their split, following a romantic relationship that started in 2016 and their engagement in 2019. In a joint statement, they revealed the decision was made to prioritize co-parenting their four-year-old daughter, Daisy Dove.
They emphasized that they will remain united as a family, providing love, stability, and mutual respect for their daughter. The couple previously separated in 2017 but reunited shortly after, before getting engaged on Valentine's Day.
The announcement comes after a tough year for Perry, whose latest album, "143," and its single "Woman's World" didn't meet expectations compared to her past hits. Additionally, ticket sales for her current tour have been slower, and she faced criticism from the public following a Blue Origin space trip.
