The Ukrainian military is stepping up its game with the introduction of the Magura V7, a groundbreaking unmanned marine vehicle that launches antiaircraft missiles from a remote-controlled speedboat. This innovative weapon artfully blends technology and strategy, leading to the downing of two Russian Su-30 fighter jets in a historic first for drone boats.

During a presentation on May 14, General Kyrylo Budanov discussed the increasing effectiveness of Ukrainian drone technology over the past three years in the ongoing conflict. The Magura V7's sleek design, featuring missiles mounted on the sides and an electronic surveillance system, allows it to patrol open waters for days while tracking enemy aircraft.

Last weekend's drone operation from eastern Siberia to the western border of Russia demonstrated the daring tactics employed by Ukraine. They secretly transported these drones overland, launching them from concealed locations—a first in the use of drones in this conflict.

Previously, Ukraine's advanced weaponry had achieved successes like the downing of two Russian helicopters in the Black Sea. The Magura V7 enhances the country's independent naval warfare capabilities, firmly establishing Ukraine as a formidable opponent in the skies and seas.
