The wreckage of the Angara Airlines An-24 aircraft, which carried 43 passengers and six crew members, has been discovered approximately 16 kilometers (10 miles) from its destination. The flight took off from Blagoveshchensk, near the Chinese border, but lost radar contact as it approached Tynda. Following the disappearance, Amur's regional governor, Vasily Orlov, confirmed that all emergency resources were mobilized for the search, which included five children among the passengers. Shortly after reports surfaced, Russia's emergencies ministry indicated that a helicopter spotted burning parts of the aircraft on a hillside in the Amur region. Rescuers are currently en route to the crash site to assist those involved. The flight had been on its final leg from Khabarovsk in southeastern Russia.
