At least 30 people have been injured following a Russian drone strike on a railway station in north-east Ukraine, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has said. In a post on X, he stated that preliminary reports indicated train staff and passengers were present at the site of the strike in the city of Shostka, in the Sumy region. Emergency services are working on-site to assist the injured. A video shared by Zelensky showed a damaged train carriage engulfed in flames. He condemned the attack as intentional targeting of civilians, labeling it terrorism, and called for the world to take meaningful action. 'Every day, Russia takes people's lives, and only strength can make them stop,' he emphasized, urging the West to translate their strong statements into tangible support.
