In a shocking incident that has sent ripples throughout social media, 23-year-old TikTok influencer Valeria Márquez was shot dead on Tuesday while livestreaming from a beauty salon in Zapopan, Mexico. As she interacted with her 113,000 followers, two men arrived on a motorcycle. One entered the salon and directly asked Valeria, “Are you Valeria?” before tragically pulling out a gun and fatally shooting her.
The incident occurred during a live session, and although her TikTok account was removed shortly after, a disturbing video of the event has circulated online. Reports confirm the chilling moment Valeria was shot while holding a pink stuffed animal.
While authorities confirm that they currently have no suspects, they are actively reviewing surveillance footage and her social media to find leads.
