Tomorrowland, the world-famous electronic dance music festival in Belgium, is facing a tough challenge after a fire erupted and destroyed its main stage just a day before the event. Despite this setback, festival organizers are determined to continue with the festivities scheduled to kick off on Friday in Boom, south of Antwerp.

Fortunately, no injuries were reported during the blaze, which occurred on Wednesday evening. Experts are currently investigating the cause of the fire. As the campsite named DreamVille prepares to welcome attendees, Tomorrowland has reassured fans on social media that they are "focused on finding solutions."

The festival anticipates a whopping 400,000 visitors over two weekends, with renowned artists like David Guetta, Lost Frequencies, and Swedish House Mafia on the lineup. Local authorities have confirmed the safety of the site, and discussions have begun exploring alternatives for the main stage. Jurgen Callaerts, the mayor of nearby Rumst, emphasized that cancelling the festival is their last resort, as organizers meet with safety officials to draft a contingency plan.

The fire started around 6 PM local time, sending thick smoke billowing as neighboring residents were evacuated for safety. Eyewitness accounts described a chaotic scene as workers attempted to finish final touches on the iconic structure. Tomorrowland, which began in 2005, has grown to become the largest electronic dance festival globally, capturing the hearts of music lovers from around the world.
