At least 44 people have been hurt when a passenger train derailed near Cléon, just south of Rouen in Normandy on Friday.
The train, carrying 180 passengers on the Rouen‑Caen route, was hit and three carriages overturned.
An 18‑year‑old woman was air‑lifted to a hospital and is in critical condition.
SNCF said it would supply replacement buses, and 140 fire and rescue crews were dispatched to the site.
