Eight passengers were injured on a Ryanair flight on Wednesday night, which was forced to divert to Memmingen Airport in southern Germany due to severe turbulence caused by bad weather. Among the injured were a two-year-old who suffered bruising and a woman with a head injury. Police reported that three individuals required hospitalization, while others were treated on-site.

Ryanair issued an apology to passengers, mentioning that the aircraft's captain had requested medical assistance and managed a safe landing. The flight was originally scheduled to arrive in Milan but was diverted to Memmingen as the weather conditions made landing at Munich Airport unfeasible. After landing at 20:44 local time (18:44 GMT), the airline organized alternative transportation to Milan for the affected passengers, along with a replacement flight the following morning. In total, there were 179 passengers and six crew members on board, and authorities confirmed that passengers aged between two and 59 were evaluated for injuries as a precaution.
