On Saturday afternoon, responders successfully rescued three individuals from the turbulent waters of the Deschutes River, while one victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
Special search teams deployed drones to assist in the recovery efforts near Dillon Falls, and although the operation was paused overnight, they plan to continue searching on Sunday.
