A mass shooting occurred on Sunday at Willie’s Bar and Grill on St. Helena Island, South Carolina, leaving four individuals dead and at least 20 others injured. The bar was hosting a packed alumni event for Battery Creek High School when the shooting began.
The victims have been identified as Kashawn Glaze, 22, Chiraad Smalls, 33, Amos Gary, 54, and A’shan’tek Milledge, 22. Community members placed flowers and candles outside the bar in memory of those lost.
