The Arizona Department of Public Safety confirmed the incident, stating that a Ranger helicopter crew was deployed to assist local law enforcement on Wednesday night. Sgt. Kameron Lee shared the sorrow of the department, noting the loss. Names of the deceased have yet to be released. The investigation into the crash will involve both the Federal Aviation Administration and the National Transportation Safety Board. The suspect in the shooting has been apprehended with non-fatal injuries, and thankfully, no additional injuries occurred during the chaos.
