TUCSON, Ariz. — Savannah Guthrie, the well-known host of the 'Today' show, is urgently seeking public support as her 84-year-old mother, Nancy Guthrie, has gone missing under suspicious circumstances in Tucson, Arizona. Savannah reached out via social media, asking for prayers and advocating for her mother’s return: Thank you for lifting your prayers with ours for our beloved mom, our dearest Nancy... Bring her home.

According to the Pima County Sheriff’s Department, it's critical for Nancy to be found soon as she requires medication that is essential for her health. Sheriff Chris Nanos stated, If she’s alive right now her meds are vital... if she doesn’t have those meds, it can become fatal.

Nancy was last seen at her home Saturday night, and authorities believe she may have been taken against her will. Officials emphasize that Nancy has limited mobility and was unlikely to leave on her own. After initial searches by family led to a 911 call, law enforcement expanded their search efforts which included the use of drones, search dogs, and assistance from volunteers and federal agencies.

Despite these efforts, as of Monday, the search turned from a rescue mission to looking into potential foul play.
