A posthumous memoir by Virginia Giuffre accuses the Duke of York of being 'entitled - as if he believed having sex with me was his birthright', according to extracts published in the Guardian newspaper.

The book, Nobody's Girl, written by the prominent accuser of sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, is due to be published next week, almost six months after Ms Giuffre took her own life.

Her book, which calls Epstein a 'master manipulator', describes three occasions where she alleges Prince Andrew had sex with her, including at Ghislaine Maxwell's house in London. It's further embarrassment for Prince Andrew, who reached a financial settlement with Ms Giuffre in 2022, and has always denied any wrongdoing.

Giuffre's memoir tells of the abusive environment she endured while being groomed by Epstein. She narrates her most shocking encounters, such as the first time she met Prince Andrew, where she was introduced to him by Ghislaine Maxwell.

She recalls being woken up with promises of meeting a 'handsome prince', only for the encounter to spiral into a series of alleged sexual abuses. 'He was friendly enough, but still entitled – as if he believed having sex with me was his birthright,' she writes.

With the book set to publish, the ongoing scrutiny over Prince Andrew's actions continues, aiming to shine a light not only on Giuffre's personal struggles but also on the broader issue of accountability for sexual abuse in elite circles.
