In brief

The Alexander brothers, renowned for their real estate success, have been arrested in Florida and charged with multiple counts of sex trafficking. Prosecutors allege they've exploited their wealth to lure and assault women, leading to an ongoing investigation involving dozens of victims.

In a shocking case that intertwines fame with criminality, Tal and Oren Alexander, luxury property brokers known for their high-profile real estate deals in New York and Miami, along with their brother Alon, have been charged with sex trafficking. Prosecutors allege that over the span of more than a decade, the brothers systematically drugged, assaulted, and raped many women, often using their wealth and allure of luxury experiences to lure their victims to various locales across the US and abroad.Law enforcement officials revealed at a Manhattan press conference that they have interviewed numerous women who claim they were forcibly raped or assaulted by the brothers. According to Damian Williams, US Attorney for the Southern District of New York, “This conduct, as alleged, was heinous,” following the arrests of the brothers in Florida. The indictment outlines a chilling pattern of behavior, including inviting women to parties and supplying them with drugs—sometimes sneakily mixed into their drinks. Disturbingly, it alleges that the brothers physically restrained victims and ignored pleas to stop during assaults. After these incidents, some victims reportedly received concert tickets and luxury gifts from the brothers.Facing charges for sex trafficking conspiracy, the brothers refute the allegations. Oren Alexander's lawyer insists he is innocent and anticipates that the evidence will vindicate him. Conversely, a lawyer representing the women has expressed relief at the indictment, emphasizing the need for accountability for the brothers’ alleged crimes as they represent numerous survivors who have bravely shared their experiences. Notably, the Alexander brothers have previously collaborated with celebrities like Kim Kardashian and Kanye West through real estate firm Douglas Elliman and recently founded their own agency, Official.
