On Friday, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters that Moscow had no information about a potential meeting among Russian President Vladimir Putin, former U.S. President Donald Trump, and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.

Earlier that week, Trump posted on his personal platform that he expected to meet with Putin and Zelensky, though he noted the talks might not require a face‑to‑face session.

On Wednesday, Zelensky said he hoped a trilateral dialogue could take place in Abu Dhabi between November 6 and 10.

In response to questions, Peskov said the Kremlin had nothing confirmed.

Peskov explained:

We know nothing about it.

The Kremlin's statement followed speculation that the former U.S. president was pursuing direct talks with both Eastern and Western leaders.

Moscow was asked whether it had received any briefings from Russia’s intelligence services about the proposed summit.

Peskov denied that any such information had reached Kremlin officials, emphasizing that Russian policy remains aligned with its national interests.

The announcement underscores the secrecy that surrounds high‑level diplomatic efforts around Ukraine.

Trump’s remarks were part of a series of social‑media posts aiming to signal his willingness to engage internationally.

Zelensky’s message came after days of negotiations between Kyiv’s negotiators and parties seeking a ceasefire.

Despite the Kremlin’s denial, all three leaders have maintained public calls for a peaceful resolution.

Until an official schedule is released, observers remain uncertain if a meeting will materialize.
