Tomorrowland, the renowned electronic dance music festival in Belgium, is making frantic efforts to construct a new main stage to replace the one lost to a fierce fire. The event, set in Boom, will commence this Friday, albeit two hours later than planned, with alternative arrangements if necessary.

As anticipation builds, around 400,000 attendees are expected over two weekends, with many already at the Dreamville campsite. Despite the setback, headliners like David Guetta and Swedish House Mafia are still set to perform.

Fortunately, the fire that erupted on Wednesday evening resulted in no injuries. Investigations are underway to determine its cause, with the local fire service confirming safety at the site. Tomorrowland spokeswoman Debby Wilmsen expressed hopes for a "nice new stage" in time for opening day.

However, if the new stage isn't ready, the festival will still welcome attendees, with performances shifted to the Gathering Stage. Enthusiasts, like Bradley Cooper-Barnard, remain optimistic, expressing their determination to enjoy the festival atmosphere, even amidst the unusual circumstances.

As local officials collaborate with festival organizers on contingency plans, Tomorrowland’s unique spirit remains strong, promising to deliver an unforgettable experience despite the challenges. The festival, which started in 2005, has grown into a global phenomenon, captivating music fans from across the world.
