In a remarkable display of security, Brazilian police uncovered a plot involving improvised explosives for the popular concert event. The Civil Police of Rio de Janeiro collaborated with the justice ministry after intelligence tipped them off about online groups promoting violence among fans of the pop star, known as “Little Monsters.”

A mastermind behind the plan was captured for illegal possession of a firearm in Rio Grande do Sul, while a teenager was apprehended for storing illicit content in Rio. Investigations revealed that the group had been cultivating hate speech against various communities and encouraging extremist behavior among youth, including self-harm.

As part of "Operation Fake Monster," search warrants were executed across multiple states, leading to the seizure of electronic devices linked to the plot. The concert was part of an effort to revitalize Rio’s economy, with projections hinting at a potential $100 million boost.

To ensure safety, 5,000 officers were deployed and attendees underwent rigorous security checks, including metal detectors, drones, and facial recognition technology. With such extensive measures, the event went on successfully amidst strong police presence.
