LOS ANGELES (AP) — Singer D4vd, whose real name is David Burke, was recently arrested under suspicion of murdering a 14-year-old girl, Celeste Rivas Hernandez, whose remains were found seven months ago in a Tesla linked to him. D4vd, 21, was taken into custody as part of a police investigation that surfaced details about the gruesome discovery of Rivas Hernandez's decomposed body in a cadaver bag. Defense lawyers have stated their client is innocent and lack of formal charges complicates the narrative surrounding the case.

Authorities confirmed that the body was discovered in a Tesla that had been towed from a Hollywood neighborhood. The girl had been missing prior to the grim finding. Police described the conditions of the discovery as 'devastating', underscoring the severity of the allegations against D4vd.

D4vd gained popularity for his music, particularly 'Romantic Homicide', which went viral in 2022. His rapid rise had included performances at major events; however, following these allegations, his scheduled concerts, including in San Francisco and Los Angeles, have been canceled, leaving fans concerned and confused about the situation.
