Germany says Russia behind Leipzig airport drone attack
A drone carrying an explosive device was discovered at Leipzig/Halle Airport in eastern Germany on 4 August, near Ukrainian cargo planes.
The drone failed to explode because its detonator was faulty, and authorities suspect a second drone may have collided with a nearby cargo aircraft.
Interior Minister Alexander Dobrindt linked the incident to Russian hybrid operations, saying Germany would likely face another attack.
Russia has denied any role and investigators are continuing the probe.
