Two people have been killed in what police say was a 'rolling terror attack' in northern Israel.
Police reported that the attacker ran over a pedestrian in the eastern city of Beit Shean, then proceeded to stab a woman near Ein Harod, which is about 12.5 kilometers (8 miles) to the west.
The assailant was shot and wounded by a civilian bystander, according to a police statement. The suspect is a resident of the Palestinian Authority in the occupied West Bank.
According to Israel's Magen David Adom emergency service, the victim killed in Beit Shean was a 68-year-old man, while the woman stabbed in Ein Harod was just 18 years old.
