Yung Filly Wins Aussie Court Battle: Not Guilty in Rape Case

UK rapper Yung Filly, real name Andres Felipe Valencia Barrientos, was accused of raping a 20‑year‑old fan after his Perth club show.
The jury found him not guilty of three counts of sexual penetration without consent. However, it was unable to reach a verdict on three other similar charges.
He was acquitted of one assault count and an act of strangulation but was convicted of two assault charges.
Yung Filly will remain on bail until 21 August while prosecutors decide whether to proceed with the undecided cases.
Beyond the courtroom, Yung Filly’s fame comes from his work with the YouTube collective Beta Squad and his appearances on BBC and Channel 4 shows.
