On 5 November 2026, Ajman’s Government Media Office and the Department of Economic Development (DED) signed an agreement to make DED the Creative Economy Partner for the upcoming forum “THE SIGNAL 2026.” The partnership was formalised by Mohammed Abdullah Al Kaabi, Executive Director of the Media Office, and Saif Ahmed Al Suwaidi, Director‑General of DED.
Under the deal, DED will sponsor a dedicated pavilion for Emirati creative media companies. The space will let firms display services, projects, and innovative solutions, and will help them expand professional networks and find investment partners.
The pavilion will highlight companies that work in media, content creation, artistic production, advanced technologies, and artificial‑intelligence solutions. Visitors can interact with demos and learn how the emirate is using AI to advance its creative sector.
DED will also participate in the Ajman 2030 Pavilion, a platform that introduces the emirate’s economic strengths and investment opportunities. It will showcase facilities, digital services, and legislation that make it easier to start and grow businesses.
One key focus will be the Zero Government Bureaucracy Programme, which promises to reduce paperwork, lower requirements, and accelerate transaction completion. The initiative aims to give investors and entrepreneurs a smoother experience and make Ajman a more competitive business environment.
Overall, the partnership is part of a broader effort to strengthen institutional integration, empower national companies, and push innovation and investment in promising economic sectors, all in line with Ajman Vision 2030.
