In brief
Jood and du captured the Best CSR Initiative award in a ceremony on 7 November 2026. Their joint digital platform aims to streamline community contributions and strengthen public–private collaboration in Dubai.
The Dubai Community Contributions Establishment (Jood) and telecom operator du were honored with the Best CSR Initiative in the Middle East award at the Telecom Review Awards on 7 November 2026.
The award recognized Jood’s integrated digital ecosystem, which is designed to improve community participation, transparency, and the efficient allocation of resources for Dubai’s social agenda.
Jood’s platform allows individuals and institutions to give directly to community priorities, making it easier to track how contributions are used and to connect spending with local needs.
Marwan Rashid bin Hashem, CEO of Jood, said the award reflects Dubai’s leadership in “innovative and sustainable models of corporate social responsibility” and highlights the power of technology partnerships.
"The recognition reflects joint efforts by Jood and its partners to establish an integrated ecosystem for community contributions built on transparency, trust and complementary roles," said Marwan Rashid bin Hashem.
Hanan Ahmad, Chief Regulatory and Shared Services Officer at du, emphasized that the collaboration “demonstrates the importance of leveraging technology to enhance community engagement.”
"It helps initiatives reach target groups, address identified priorities and connect technological capabilities with the actual needs of the community," said Hanan Ahmad.
The partnership illustrates how public‑private collaboration can drive sustainable social impact in line with Dubai’s vision for the future.
